Johnny O'Kane is a trial lawyer and partner at Skiermont Derby LLP, where he represents clients in various industries, including real estate, hospitality, entertainment, and technology, throughout all stages of trial. A rising star honoree in Super Lawyers Magazine since 2013, O'Kane earned his law degree from The College of William and Mary's Marshall-Wythe School of Law where he received numerous accolades and was elected to multiple honor societies. Prior to practicing law, O'Kane served in the California State Assembly and earned an M.P.A. from Columbia University with a concentration in environmental science and policy. He graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a bachelor's degree in political science and government, where he also lettered in baseball and participated in the Claremont Colleges Debate Union.

In addition to his work at Skiermont Derby, O'Kane is involved in pro bono work, serving on the Leadership Council of Public Counsel, the country's largest pro bono law firm, and working on a variety of criminal, civil, and immigration cases.
