Victor Lin

Victor Lin is a highly educated and skilled musician, educator, and jazz expert. He received his Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Arts in Music, Jazz from the University of Washington, where he excelled in piano. He then continued his studies with a Master of Music in Jazz, as well as a Doctorate in Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, further solidifying his expertise in both performance and education.

In addition to his extensive educational background, Lin has held various prestigious positions in the music world. He currently serves as the Head of Jazz Studies at The Calhoun School in New York City, where he teaches students of all ages about the history and techniques of jazz music. Prior to that, he was a Jazz Instructor at Columbia University in the City of New York, and served on the Jazz Faculty and Advisory Board at Stanford Jazz Workshop.

Lin's professional experience and dedication to jazz education have made him a highly respected figure in the music community. His background in both performance and education allows him to better connect with his students and inspire them to develop their own musical abilities.
