Dean Lindal

Dean Lindal is a seasoned global connector and entrepreneurship advocate with over three decades of experience. Lindal played a pivotal role in scaling and expanding the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), where he was one of the founding members. Over the years, Lindal facilitated EO's growth and expansion to over 40 countries and 90 cities, making EO the largest and most influential founders network globally. Similarly, he helped establish EO's student entrepreneur awards program, which led to the creation of the EO-GSEA student entrepreneur network.

Lindal’s passion for nurturing entrepreneurship and innovation led him to head Young Presidents Organization’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation department, which sparked the development of the YPO Innovation Week program in partnership with Techstars and Nasdaq. Also, Lindal co-founded and served as the President of Venture Development Canucks, which invested in food and wearable device sectors, resulting in two successful IPOs.

Additionally, Lindal created the Thomas Edison World Entrepreneur Forum and Summit, and also served on the advisory board for the Thomas Edison Innovation Organization. In all his roles, Lindal leveraged his community-building skills to create thriving partnerships, networks and collaborations that support entrepreneurship.

Asides from his professional experience, Lindal is passionate about mental health and has utilized his community-building skills by establishing youth entrepreneurship clubs and other community endeavours. Lindal's personal achievements are as impressive as his professional ones, finishing as a nationally-ranked swimmer in Canada, winning Canada's Longest Open Water Swimming Race, and becoming an Ironman finisher.
