Richard Henson is a seasoned business leader and entrepreneur with extensive expertise in the life sciences and medical technology industries. He graduated with a degree in EM from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, and has since held a variety of executive roles at companies such as ValVention, Inc., PhageTech, Inc., and Clary Corporation, among others.
As the CEO of NeorahDX, Inc., he leads the company's efforts to commercialize a recently developed, unique method of accurately self-testing for infections in less than an hour. This patented technology, based on NDX technology, allows for simple, self-administered tests using a nasal swab or saliva sample. Unlike current testing methods, no laboratory or instruments are required, and results are delivered via a visual color change, similar to a pregnancy test. This technology has the potential to meet the urgent needs of hundreds of millions of people at risk for the virus and disrupt current testing methods significantly.
