Vijay Murugesan is a skilled industrial engineer with experience in manufacturing engineering, operations planning, and quality assurance and control. He has held positions as a teaching assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, manufacturing intern at Schlumberger, and a supplier quality intern at Applied Materials. Murugesan also worked as a product engineer at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited where he handled conceptual and detailed design engineering duties and managed operations planning for manufacturing assembly lines.

Murugesan's specialties are systems engineering, lean manufacturing, design of experiments, statistical methods in manufacturing, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, DMAIC/8D, and data analysis.
