Jendayi Berry
Jendayi Berry, also known as Jedi Maji, is a rising multi-disciplinary artist hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has gained local acclaim for his abstract paintings and live sketches, earning the title "the face of fluid painting" by MSP magazine in 2020-21. Berry's work is defined by its intersection of art, storytelling, activism, and innovation, as he continually seeks to present paradigm shifts on topics of love, excellence, and social and racial justice. His pieces incorporate duality and perspective, using symmetry, layering, movement, color, and light to challenge and shift viewers' perspectives and question societal norms. Berry studied Technical Management and Small Business Administration/Management at DeVry University, Architectural & Environmental Design, City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning at Arizona State University, and International Baccalaureate Candidate at Southwest High School. He has worked as a Concrete Restoration Foreman at Paragon Restoration II and as a Visual Artist at JendayiBerryArt.
