Jason Rulnick is a highly experienced Senior Specialist in Post-War & Contemporary Art, providing his expertise in the field for individuals who value fine art. With over 18 years of experience in the market, Jason's background in studio art and art history made him a critical eye in understanding and handling various materials and processes of art-making. He completed his MFA in New Genres at the San Francisco Art Institute, followed by a degree in Media Studies at Columbus College of Art & Design.
In 2015, Jason joined artnet.com's Auctions team, where he was approached to offer his expertise in diverse media such as Prints & Multiples, Photography, Asian, and Middle Eastern markets. Their team collectively possesses decades of combined expertise, passion towards material, nimble in direction, and aggressive in approach. They follow a curatorial approach to build their auctions and deal with unique and bespoke artworks and client relationships. In 2021, Jason was appointed to the position of Senior Specialist, Post-War & Contemporary Art, following his former role as Specialist in the same field.
