Jim Warhurst is an accomplished businessman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with years of experience under his belt. He graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and went on to earn an MBA degree from the University of Alabama. With a deep passion for business, Mr. Warhurst has taken on several roles in both startups and established companies. He co-founded and served as CEO of AirWalk Communications, Inc., a wireless software company that was sold to a NASDAQ-listed firm in 2006. Additionally, he is a founding partner of the private-equity investment firm, Highland Associates.
Jim Warhurst has also been active in his community, including serving on the board of the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce and as a trustee of Birmingham-Southern College. He has been recognized for his philanthropy and volunteer work, including being awarded the Silver Beaver by the Boy Scouts of America.
