Working in a consultancy, my responsibilities include creating the financial platform, reporting, structuring operations, sales and marketing, recruiting and hiring the operations and sales leadership.

Accessibility Now, from BOIA, is an SaaS platform, full developed and in full release. The business premise is backed by US legislation requiring that publishers maintain the ability for impaired users to have unimpaired experiences. Many countries have established their own website accessibility standards. The most popular ones are Section 508 in the United States and WCAG 2 worldwide. Section 508, an amendment to the United States Workforce Rehabilitation Act of 1973, is a US federal law that mandates all electronic and information technology developed, procured, maintained, or used by the federal government be accessible to people with disabilities. Organizations that work with federal agencies may also be required to meet the same accessibility requirements. States, Municipalities, Education, Healthcare, Ecommerce and many non-profit organizations have already adopted Section 508 as their standards. The Accessibility Now platform identifies accessibility issues and provides the location, description of the issue and the appropriate fix. The result is full compliance which may reduce (if not eliminate) the costly risk of class action litigation.

The multi-year program spans from infrastructure (SaaS, website metrics, ad serving, newsletter opin management, syndication ...) through building a sales team, training, mentoring and coaching. Through channel and partner development, domestically and worldwide.

As one of the six person start up team, my initial role was to define the Internet media strategy for an ongoing series of advertising supported technology focused websites, and then execute on that strategy. Following the successful media execution my next role was to define a new business development strategy focusing primarily of the creation of new products and services and execute on that strategy. This included the acquisition of 7 business' that were integrated over a period of 18 months. We raised over $100 million in VC.
My final role was to define the strategy for a conference business, leveraging the media business assets and execute that strategy in the USA and Europe with full P&L responsibility.
TerchTarget now trades on NASDAQ under TTGT and has a market cap of $750 million..

A group of venture capitalists purchased high speed computerized variable print software and hardware technology from a Sweden based company. I was recruited to build a company to commercialize the imaging technology and bring it into the revenue stage supported by $8 million in VC. During the development process a new symbology as invested called Stealth Dots and patented. The products were sold direct as well as through the ISV, VAR, OEM and distribution channel.
With the company in the revenue ramp stage, it was merged into a British competitor, Formscan.

Paradigm was boutique Interim Executive and Management Consulting firm focusing on SMB growth issues. Grew sales for a specialty wire & cable manufacturer by 27.2%. Grew profitability for a $50 million PC manufacturer through operations restructuring. Raised stock price of a food manufacturer 31% from operational improvements. Several sales and profit improvement success stories: Document Storage distributor, Child Safety product manufacturer, Aircraft Toll & Die company and more.
My role had full P&L responsibility for the Northeast which included four offices and eight consultants in addition to being an individual contributor.

My role included full P&L responsibility ($8 million).
Benchmark was acquired and became a division of Jmar Industries, traded on NASDAQ.

Wayne Kerr, Inc. was the Americans subsidiary I started for Wayne Kerr ltd. that provided automatic PCB and component test systems and software. As President, Americas, The products were sold direct as well as through VAR, OEM and distribution channels. I had full P&L responsibility.
We took the company public on the London Exchange in 1986 and was 12.5 over subscribed. Two yars after the IPO Waynke Kerr Plc. was acquired by Farnell Electronics.

Part of a small team assembled to turn the Data Precision division around. The products ere sold direct as well as through VAR, OEM and distribution channels. The revenue increased by 62% in 18 months and profitability from a loss to 7% ROS. Improved manufacturing processes, discontinuation of loss laden products and introduction of new signal analysis systems.

I created and managed the direct sales organizations in the USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Japan and Mexico, enhanced the distribution channel and had P&L responsibility of $100 million per annum with  230 sales, service and support professionals.
