Nicole Terrizzi is an accomplished fundraiser, educator, and writer with a strong background in marketing, communication, and organization. She has a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, and a Bachelor's degree in English and Journalism/Mass Communication with Music and Women's Studies minors from Simpson College. Nicole has held a variety of leadership roles throughout her career, including National Director of Institutional Philanthropy at Genesys Works, Board Chair and Development Director at Rhythm Section Drumlines, and Director of Development at Genesys Works - Bay Area. She has also worked as a Grant Writer at Small Business Majority, Product Marketing Manager and Proposal Writer at Teachscape, 7th-8th Grade Humanities Teacher at Aspire Public Schools, Grant Administrator at Kansas City Urban Youth Center, and English teacher for Teach for America in Kansas City Public Schools. As a freelance writer and videographer, she has worked with various publications and media outlets, including C-SPAN and Des Moines Juice Magazine.
