Brian Bryson/CanWest/IBM

Brian Bryson is a North Vancouver-based professional with a wide range of interests and experiences. He is a dedicated father, field hockey enthusiast, soccer coach, amateur hacker, pianist, and two-wheeler. Brian is known for his role as an event creator at MIT Technology Review.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Information Systems and Finance from Carleton University. He has also pursued studies in Accounting and Finance from the Canadian Securities Institute.

Throughout his career, Brian has held several significant positions at IBM, including Content Manager for Global Events, Marketing Campaign Manager for Developer Outreach, Marketing Manager for Developer Tools, Event Manager for Developer Conference, Product Evangelist and Product Manager for Software Quality Portfolio, Business Partner Technical Manager, as well as roles in Systems Engineering at Rational Software and SQA.

Currently, Brian serves as the Director of Event Content and Experiences at MIT Technology Review, where he continues to leverage his diverse skill set and expertise in event management, marketing, and technology.
