Barbara Simon is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the ICT media sector. As Managing Director at IDG Communications for Australia and New Zealand, she has demonstrated strategic and operational prowess, having led various teams across ANZ and Asia in media, marketing, demand generation, and event products. She was the former Director and Board Member at PayTECH and PayTECH PC, where she honed her commercial ability and leadership skills.

Barbara is also a passionate advocate for the advancement of the CIO profession and promotes diversity in IT as the General Manager of the ANZ CIO Executive Council. Her dedication to her work resulted in her growth and recognition of IDG's ANZ & ASEAN portfolio as industry leaders and reliable resources.

Barbara obtained a degree in Frontline PR, PR, Communication from the Public Relations Institute of South Africa and Marketing Management from Damelin Management.
