Emily Grant

Emily Grant is a highly educated professional with a Doctor of Law - JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and additional studies at The Hebrew University.

She has a diverse and extensive background in the legal field, having worked as a Litigation Associate at Irell & Manella LLP and gained experience as a Student Attorney Extern at Roderick & Solange MacArthur Justice Center, as well as in the Civil Rights Clinic and Community Justice and Civil Rights Clinic at Northwestern University.

Emily has also served in various editorial and research roles, including Deputy Editor-in-Chief at the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology, Associate Editor at the same journal, and as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.

Her professional experience extends beyond the legal field, having worked as a Legal Intern in the Children and Families Practice Group at Legal Aid Chicago and as a Paralegal in the Criminal Division at the United States Attorneys' Offices.

Additionally, she has held roles focusing on community enrichment and education, such as being an Enrichment Coordinator at Adams Street Foundation, a Division Manager at Camp Ramah in California, and a Jewish Student Life Coordinator at Berkeley Hillel.
