Brian Jones is a financial services professional with a focus on community development and financial inclusion. He has a diverse background in credit union and CDFI activities, corporate debt issuance and credit ratings, and international MFI and SME financing. Brian is a huge supporter of attracting talent and using technology to bring innovative financial products, business models, and distribution channels to underserved consumers. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and an MBA in Impact Investment, Community Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Sloan School of Management. Brian's areas of focus include lending, credit market activities, business development, general management, due diligence, financial modeling, and data analysis. He currently serves as the Special Projects Manager on the Executive Staff at Self-Help and has previously held roles as SOCAP11 Operations at Social Capital Markets, Investment Associate at D. Capital, Dalberg Global Development Advisors, and Rating Specialist at Standard & Poor's.
