Libby Carleton is a highly adaptable professional with 20+ years of experience in various fields. She has worked in operations, sales support, management, and customer service. Her expertise in database management and programming has come from self-teaching and intensive personal study of each program. Libby is proficient in many software applications and has supported different departments and groups.
In addition to her professional experience, Libby is an avid writer and has written over 150 poems and several short stories. She compiled a book of poetry in 2014 and submitted it to the Academy of American Poets. She continues to work toward her goal of becoming a published poet. Libby has also partnered with an outsourced company to offer internship opportunities, mentoring and professional growth to participants through the Gwinnett County DHS program.
Libby is a people person who enjoys meeting and talking to new people. She is also fluent in Spanish and continues to improve her ability to communicate in the language. Her experience in theater has prepared her to think on her feet and roll with the punches, making her a valuable asset in any situation. Libby's amiable and open nature gives her an advantage when dealing with colleagues and customers, and she was selected as a main-level trainer in the last three positions she held.
