Ignacio Lucas is a seasoned professional in the field of computer science and data science, with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

He started his journey by studying at prestigious institutions like Lycée Français de Madrid, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and Università degli Studi di Roma Tre, where he obtained degrees in Computer Science and Engineering.

His academic pursuits led him to achieve a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with the distinction of Cum laude.

Ignacio's thirst for knowledge took him to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he honed his skills as a Postdoctoral Associate and a Research Assistant, working on cutting-edge technologies in the realm of artificial intelligence.

With a strong foundation in academia, Ignacio transitioned to the industry by joining PatternEx, a startup in the SF Bay Area, as a Chief Data Scientist and later moved up to the role of Chief Technology Officer.

At PatternEx, he contributed to the development of an artificial intelligence platform for InfoSec, utilizing state-of-the-art machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms for real-time attack prevention in enterprise applications.
