Michael Hills is a seasoned software engineer with expertise in various fields including operating systems, web and mobile development, FPGAs, machine learning, and digital signal processing. He currently works as a consultant, allowing him to explore and learn new technologies while honing his skills. Michael has an impressive background in the tech industry, having worked for companies such as Neara, Martin IT, Lexy.io, First Order, Posse, Open Kernel Labs, Inc., and Ryarc Media Systems. He also served as a summer student at NICTA and a casual tutor at the University of New South Wales where he studied BE in Computer Engineering.

Michael’s passion for technology is evident with his participation in various Kaggle machine learning competitions, earning him a title in Seizure Detection Challenge and landing in the top ten list of Seizure Prediction Challenge. He enjoys learning more about statistics, machine learning, and DSP techniques to gain more skills in manipulating and analyzing data. Michael aims to use his skills in music and robotics/AI fields.
