Shivani Matta is a seasoned technology leader with an outstanding record of delivering products in companies like Amazon and Microsoft. With 19 years of expertise in the consumer and enterprise segments, she has been responsible for defining the roadmap, strategic planning, operations, hiring, P&L performance, and building relationships with partners. Shivani is presently the Principal Software Engineering Manager at Microsoft, where she leads a team of software engineers, applied scientists, and data scientists. In her previous roles, she has also been a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft, and Engineering and Applied Science Leader at Amazon Business.

Shivani completed her computer science bachelor's degree from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, after finishing high school at Saint Mary School, Himachal Pradesh. Shivani is deeply interested in improving herself and is highly adaptable to change. She is an avid baker and is relatively new to the half marathon league.
