Mike Marcus is a seasoned consultant and community developer with a diverse background in city planning, sustainability, and infrastructure. He is passionate about connecting people with mission-driven organizations to drive impact and equity. With multiple degrees from top universities and years of experience in various roles, Mike has led several successful initiatives in both urban and rural areas. He has managed the launch of a renewable energy finance pilot program, co-founded CreativeMornings Asheville, built a regional alliance for artist affordable housing developments, among others. He is a lifelong learner who prioritizes equity and inclusion, with a particular interest in LGBTQ issues. In his free time, he enjoys art, design, surfing, travel, conversations, farmers markets, community, and the outdoors.
