Blake Hord is a promising young engineer with a passion for rocket propulsion and innovative space technology. Currently enrolled at Stanford University, Blake has experience in mechanical design for manufacturing, pressure systems management and project management. He is an active member of several organizations including Stanford Student Space Initiative where he serves as Propulsion Team Co-Lead. Blake has completed internships at ABL Space Systems, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Stanford University, where he conducted research and gained expertise in his field.

Blake is an accomplished individual with several notable achievements under his belt. He graduated as Valedictorian at Dobbs Ferry High School, and is currently pursuing Bachelor of Science - BS, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at Stanford University.

Blake's interest in rocket propulsion and innovative space technology has led him to participate in several projects and internships. As Hardware Development Intern at ABL Space Systems, Blake gained valuable experience in the design and manufacturing of advanced rocket engines. As an Intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, he worked on improving propulsion systems for spacecraft. In addition to these experiences, Blake has served as a Program Organizer at Curious-on-Hudson, where he helped to organize youth programs, and as a Research Intern at California State University, Northridge.

Through his experiences, Blake has developed a strong set of skills in mechanical design, project management, and improvisation which makes him an asset in the field of engineering. His dedication to rocket propulsion and innovative space technology position him as a promising leader in the industry.
