Kpa-Ctp Tricia Sverre

Tricia Sverre is a friendly and professional certified dog trainer and behaviorist with extensive experience in the animal care industry. She is a graduate of Karen Pryor Academy's Professional Dog Training program and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. Tricia is also a professional member of APDT (The Association of Professional Dog Trainers) and pursues ongoing continuing education and professional development by attending several seminars per year.

Tricia had the honor of working at Calgary Humane Society as an Animal Behavior Counselor where she worked with hundreds of shelter dogs with varying behavior needs. She is now the Owner and Head Trainer at Canine Align, where she provides effective and convenient solutions to her clients' dog training needs. Tricia is committed to putting her clients first and aims to make their lives with their canine companions easier.

Tricia's educational background includes studying Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Recreation and Health Education at the University of Victoria and different professional training programs, including a Karen Pryor Academy (KPA) Certified Training Partner (CTP).

In her free time, Tricia enjoys spending time with her family and beloved rescue dog, Baloo. Her interests also include reading the latest industry literature and attending several seminars per year to stay current on her field.
