Pete Finnerty
Pete Finnerty is an independent licensed professional clinical and supervising counselor, consultant, educator, researcher, and advocate with a mission to connect and expand his experiences in counseling, research, advocacy, counselor education, and consultation. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master's degree in Counseling from California State University, he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Counselor Education and Supervision from Kent State University.
Finnerty is the founder of Grow Well Cleveland, LLC, and a former assistant professor at Ursuline College. He has also taken on various roles as an adjunct faculty, supervisor, practicum-internship coordinator, consultant, licensed clinical professional counselor, and licensed professional clinical counselor w/supervisory designation in different organizations, including Jay Berk PhD & Associates, Pete Finnerty Counseling & Consulting LLC, Counseling For Wellness, John Carroll University, Youngstown State University, Coleman Professional Services, ACA, Kent State University, FORTIS Colleges and Institutes, and Fresno Family Counseling Center.
Aside from his academic and professional experiences, Finnerty was also a fitness director, personal trainer, and instructor at Bally Total Fitness and held several grocery clerk positions at Save Mart Supermarkets.
His extensive background and expertise make him a valuable professional in the counseling, research, and education fields.
