Ekaterina Gianelli, a former operator turned venture capitalist, is passionate about helping entrepreneurs succeed. With a focus on seed and early-stage opportunities, she has made a name for herself in the startup world as a Partner at Inventure, a leading venture capital firm based in Helsinki. Ekaterina has a wealth of experience in scaling ventures, having been part of the team that helped Fjord become a leading design & innovation firm globally, and she has also worked in product and sales at Kiosked, an advertising technology startup. At Inventure, she primarily works with consumer and SME software businesses, with interests spanning digital health, the future of food, and conscious consumption.

Ekaterina is also a former Kauffman Fellow and Expert Advisor at the European Commission. In addition to her role as a Partner at Inventure, she is also a coach and mentor to younger professionals, particularly those interested in bridging the gap between technology, design, and business. Ekaterina received her Bachelor's degree in International Economics from Lomonosov Moscow State University and her MBA in Service Innovation and Design from Laurea University of Applied Sciences.
