Kasey Russell
Kasey Russell is a data-driven physicist dedicated to leveraging her scientific expertise to solve complex problems. With a PhD in Applied Physics from Harvard University, Kasey's doctoral research delved into quantum electronics and low-temperature semiconductor electron transport. Her post-doctoral work focused on quantum optics, plasmonics, and GaN nanolasers, where she demonstrated the creation of nanoscale metal devices that made tiny fluorescent particles glow 1000x brighter.
With a proven track record of executing challenging projects, Kasey has published 35 peer-reviewed papers and holds 2 issued patents, with more pending. She is proficient in Python, Swift, Ruby, Matlab, Java, and has familiarity with Javascript, C, Obj-C, and Fortran. Kasey is also the creator of a joystick-controlled automated lab microscope system that controlled multiple CCD cameras, a spectrometer, avalanche photodiodes, and multiple sample positioning stages. The lab still uses her creation.
Kasey's professional experience includes Principal Member of the Technical Staff at Draper, Software Lead at Soofa, Inc, Founder/CEO at Back on Task LLC, Research Consultant at Harvard University, Chief Technology Officer at Goodlux Technology, Research Associate at Harvard University, and Co-Founder at Goodlux Technology.
