The primary purpose of LVE is to secure events for the destination and then ensure their success. Through "Signature Events," we work closely with event producers, hotels, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and local municipalities to assemble the necessary elements for a successful event.   Founded in 1983, LVE has grown with Las Vegas since it became one of the world's premier resort destinations. LVE is a private, non-profit organization, formed by a state statute and funded by hotel room tax through the LVCVA. LVE serves as the exclusive major events agency for the destination to secure and ensure the success of events in Las Vegas and the outlying areas - Laughlin, Primm and Mesquite.   Since 1991, LVE has produced and supported more than 600 events and driven more than six million visitors to Southern Nevada, resulting in a non-gaming economic impact of more than $3.8 billion.My responsibilities at Las Vegas Events as the Vice President Event Development include:• Securing events for the destination (Las Vegas) • Develop events to include not only citywide anchor events, but assist in the development of “Spin-off”    events • Serve as the liaison to industry partners including event producers, hotel partners, sponsors, city   officials, and LVCVA• Present proposed events to the LVE Board of Directors • Represent Las Vegas Events in supporting the outlying areas of Laughlin, Mesquite, and Primm and   their special event initiatives

My responsibilities at Las Vegas Events as the Director Corporate Marketing included:• Secured multiple hotel partnerships for Signature Events• Assisted in the development of spin-off events• Sales of special events sponsorships • Executed the fulfillment of all sponsorships• Served as the liaison between hotel partners, sponsors, and event producers• Worked with networks to broadcast events• Assisted in event operations for Wrangler NFR, Mountain West Conference Basketball Tournament, and USA Sevens

Director Corporate Marketing

My responsibilities included:• Sales of VIP Suite program, Club Seat program, and facility sponsorship• Managed the day-to-day operations of the VIP Suite and Club Seat programs• Managed $6.5 million budget• Assisted in securing the $5 million naming rights sponsor for the Cox Pavilion• Secured $1 million naming rights sponsor for the new press tower at Sam Boyd Stadium• Organized campus committee to secure a five-year soft drink sponsor valued at more than $2 million• Secured a $1.25 million malt beverage sponsor• Secured $750,000 sponsor from local community destination• Managed a staff of five full-time employeesOther positions held at UNLV – Thomas & Mack Center, Sam Boyd Stadium, Cox Pavilion included: Director Luxury Seating, Manager Corporate Sponsorships, and Corporate Relations Representative

My responsibilities at the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame as the Executive Director include:• Managed the day-to-day operations of the charity• Recruited 25 business leaders to serves as Board of Trustees• Coordinated monthly meetings in preparation for the annual induction ceremony and golf tournament
