Felipe Athia is a well-educated and accomplished business development professional, with experience in the healthcare technology sector. He holds a Master's degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Italy's prestigious Università Commerciale 'Luigi Bocconi', as well as a specialization in Management of Family Businesses from Brazil's Fundação Getulio Vargas. He is also a London School of Economics Money & Banking alumnus, and possesses a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Brazil's Federal University of Paraná.

Athia's most recent experience was as the Head of Business Development - Global at Medicus AI, where he previously held positions as Head of Business Development for Latin America & Africa, and Entrepreneur In Residence. Prior to joining Medicus AI, he was the Director of Finance and Administration at Grupo Invita, a medical equipment supplier.

Athia is also a serial entrepreneur, having founded and led several companies including The BucketLust LTD, MedUse, and Fratellini. He was an Executive Director at Planície Seguros, and a member of the Executive Committee at G36 Participações. Before starting his own companies, Athia worked as a Researcher at various institutions in Brazil, including the Paraná State Institute of Economic and Social Development (IPARDES) and the Brazilian National Council of Research and Technology (CNPq). He also worked as a Business Division Analyst for Allianz.
