Malia Simonds is a highly educated individual with a strong background in Art History, French Literature, and Corporate Philanthropy.

She completed a BA at the College of the Holy Cross, studied Study Abroad courses in Art History and French Literature at Universite de Bourgogne, and obtained her HS Diploma from Punahou School.

Malia has held various important roles in impactful organizations, including Corporate Philanthropy for the Americas at Bloomberg Philanthropies, where she was the West Coast Lead for Corporate Philanthropy and Special Projects.

Her experience also includes being a Program Officer for Arts at Bloomberg Corporate Philanthropy West Coast, Director of External Affairs at the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, and Deputy Director of Special Projects and Community Events at the New York City Mayor's Office.

Additionally, Malia has served as Senior Manager for Special Projects and Community Events at the Mayor's Office, Project Manager for Cultural Programs at the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, and Administrative and Development Director at the Public Art Fund.
