I joined Xerox ITO (now Atos) as a project manager working with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams from North and Latin America, Asia and Europe on IT projects going from Automation, Consolidation of Data Centers (mainframe, AIX, Linux, Unix, Windows), Servers Virtualization, Transformation and Transition, Windows upgrades, VPN refresh, software distribution, assets management and others for medium and large enterprises.I have been in charge of these projects from start to closure; managing budgets, planning, quoting and procuring the hardware and software used for the designed solutions, keeping the projects in the green zone, communicating to the customer status, issues, risks, resolutions and documenting the progress through charters, status dashboards and other documents. Working in a multicultural environment and living abroad has opened a lot of doors and windows, and I'm thankful for all of what has brought... being an immigrant is actually more fun than I imagined when I started this journey, even with it's down sides.I have been granted the "Spot Light Award" three times for my performance during my time at the company.

Project Manager

My last role at Novell was as the Manager for Technical Services and services sales; being a technical expert and understanding the sales model for products and services, I was in charge of a team of 15 engineers assigned to key accounts for Novell country wide. My objectives included the resolution of all technical service requests including 2nd and 3rd level escalations, and leading the services sales process to the sign-off for new and renewed support contracts, getting to close important deals with banking, retail and government institutions in Mexico with a 1.5Mdd services sales quota per year.Other roles performed at Novell: -	Senior Field Engineer supporting Novell products: OS, Identity Management, email, edirectory, identity management, boundary services, assets management and software distribution for different customers such as banks, oil companies and government dependencies.-	Technical sales specialist, I co-designed solutions for several customers and implemented Novell’s test and evaluation projects, sharing a quota with the sales team of 3.0Mdd per year.-	Partners Manager: being a bi-lingual Novell Certified Instructor and Salesperson for nine years, I was assigned as a Partners Manager where my objectives included training the distribution channel and the evangelization of the renewed channel programme for Novell at Mexico fulfilling a 1.5Mdd sales quota per year. 2007 – President’s Club award (Top performers), Sydney, Australia for my contributions as a Technical Sales Specialist2006 – Technical Sales Specialist award, Mexico

During this time I performed as a technical consultant/contractor for several companies in Mexico, including Novell, designing, selling and implementing solutions for customers country wide. I developed multiple Certifications in Novell’s and IBM’s technologies, and as a Certified Instructor taught training courses all over the country for different companies.I provided training, support, design and implementation services for several customers in Mexico including corporate, retail, government and industry.
