Aaron Gardner is a talented Senior Designer and Art Director with over 12 years of experience in the field of multimedia technology and design. He holds two degrees in the related fields of art, technology and design from the University of Kent and Bournemouth University. Currently, Aaron serves as the Brand Guardian and oversees all the design outputs across The Sun Online, The US Sun, and The UK Sun, ranging from flat design, brand creation, logo design, motion graphics, editorial videos, augmented reality, and immersive virtual reality content for both editorial and commercial purposes.
He manages and directs all of The Sun Online design teams, including digital, print, motion graphics designers, and video editors, and the design team responsible for the UK's number one Snapchat channel. Along with that, Aaron handles the development of high-impact creative projects from concept to completion, including animations, editorial videos, and promotional content for a wide range of clients. He also mentors junior artists on creative processes and delivers on multiple projects and platforms simultaneously.
Aaron played a vital role in developing The Sun website to become the UK's biggest online newspaper brand. With expertise in utilizing tools such as The full Adobe suite, Snapchat Lens Studio, and Adobe Spark and Cinema 4D, he builds AR and VR content.
Moreover, Aaron has created commercial content for clients such as Diet Coke, Rubicon, Betway, and Jet2. He is experienced in recruiting, hiring, and training candidates with an eye for performance while keeping within budgetary limitations.
