Used Protocol Analyzers to detect network traffic patterns, Ethereal, TCP Dump, VLANs, trunking, OSPF, BGP, and also VRF in complex routing environments for NIPRnet and SIPRnet.  This also included monitoring network performance using HPOV, Spectrum, Cisco Works, syslog, MRTG, and other custom situational awareness apps.
