Jenny Samfat is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at BrightSentinel, a temperature monitoring subscription service aimed at providing accurate and continuous information to life science businesses to improve life and save resources. She has completed her studies in banking, business, and finance at Monash University. With her experience in process improvement and as a solution design consultant at Nemmco and Agl Energy, she established Thermodata, another temperature monitoring subscription service. She also worked as a business analyst at Citipower and Powercor and as a senior business analyst at Origin Energy and Ausnet Services, where she improved the quote-to-cash process. She completed the Rockstart Digital Health Accelerator program in Nijmegen, Netherlands, in 2018, and shifted from the USA to Eindhoven, Netherlands, to expand the company's hardware production and R&D and boost sales in Europe. She is passionate about creative leadership, transparency, diversity, identifying and fulfilling customer needs, empowering the team, streamlining processes, and promoting efficient operations. Her focus is on business strategy, product development, and sales growth. Some of her pet peeves include people who don't try to be the best they can be, who watch the clock rather than the outcome, and who can't have a good laugh.
