Sue Baxter-Pflederer has an extensive background in nursing and case management, with a focus on workers’ compensation claims in Illinois and bordering states. As the founder and president of Medical Management Innovations, Inc., Sue led a team of certified case managers who provided personalized service to ensure the best outcomes for their clients. In November 2019, Sue's case management team transitioned to Triune Health Group, where she served as Manager of Telephonic Services.

Sue is a Certified Case Manager (CCM) and a member of the Case Management Society of America. She is committed to helping others and serves as the President of Kids’ Chance Inc. of Illinois, a charity that provides scholarships to the children of workers who have been seriously injured or killed on the job. Sue's passion for helping others extends beyond her work and charitable activities, as she recently traveled to the Hope Center in India to support girls rescued from sex trafficking.

Outside of work, Sue enjoys reading, knitting with friends, and collaborating with colleagues to develop new products and strategies that improve the case management industry. She is most proud of her team of diligent, thorough, and timely RN case managers, who are well-versed in the industry and all its nuances.
