In charge of Software Engineering for the Presence, Commerce and Customer Experience division, building products that allow Small Businesses to create their online presence, get found, and grow their businesses.Built products from scratch and using the latest and greatest tech stacks and open source projects. We are in charge of GoDaddy's E-mail Marketing, SEO tools, Bookkeeping and Invoicing, Listings, Social Presence, E-commerce and Online Presence. These products were built with a diverse range of tech stacks including Python/Django, Ruby/Rails and NodeJS/ReactJS/NoSQL.I led several initiatives to modernize our engineering tools, processes and stack, implementing a fully automated Continuous Integration and Deployment pipeline. Our flagship product, GoCentral,  is successfully deployed several times a day, removing bureaucracy from engineers’ lives and empowering them work together and to move fast and iteratively.GoCentral,  is the latest evolution of GoDaddy’s Online Presence vision: built on a new stack with ReactJS, Node.JS and Cassandra NoSQL and seamlessly integrating our several products into a single and complete solution for SMBs.  To better serve our customer's websites we built a brand new Page Serving Platform on top of Node.js and Cassandra that reduced our server demands by 10x and improved performance by 4x.Transformed the company culture enabling teams became a major contributors to GoDaddy's open source initiatives and we have open sourced several components of our products and platforms.As a Senior Engineering Leader in the company, I directly contributed on several acquisitions like Locu, MadMimi, Nodejitsu and more recently MainStreetHub and Plasso and Sellbrite.

In charge of Yahoo! Mail Front End Engineering, Global User Settings, Global User Profile with Teams based in the US and Latin America. With responsibility for all added value experiences on top of the core Yahoo Mail functionality: Attachments, Monetization and Ads, Smart Message Categorization, Yahoo Messenger Web, Smart Folders, Photos App and Mail Search.Built a new modular architecture that allowed Yahoo Mail to deliver features independently and reduced the deployment time from several days to a matter of minutes. Making it it easier to push fwd instead of rolling back. #continuousdeployment Integrated Yahoo Mail with Dropbox, users can easily upload files directly to Dropbox and attach any files on their cloud storage when composing their messages.Yahoo Profile, holds the public identity of Yahoo users. This is the place where the more than 700MM Yahoo users go to manage their data, connect their accounts with social networks and services and change their account settings.All my teams followed Lean / Agile principles with independent and quick deployment of product improvements and quality focused development.

I am in charge of Engineering in the Identities Team at Yahoo!, leading the Yahoo Contacts, Global User Profile, and Web Yahoo! Messenger with Teams based in the US and Latin America. I helped drive to the decision of "End of Life" several legacy or non well funded products, redirecting our teams to major and more focused initiatives.I also have been an active Agile evangelist at Yahoo!, having helped and trained more than 400 Yahoos on Lean agile practices in more than 6 countries.
