Derek Kuhl, a digital sales leader with extensive experience in launching and scaling sales teams and products, has excelled in companies ranging from startups to global corporations. After completing his undergraduate studies in Anthropology and Asian Studies at Williams College, Kuhl embarked on his journey as an entrepreneur. He has held several leadership positions in corporations such as Spotify, General Assembly, Intent Media Inc., Google, SmartBrief, and the Advisory Board Company. As Global Head of Self-Serve Advertising at Spotify, he has been instrumental in growing the company's advertising business across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC markets. At General Assembly, Kuhl served as Vice President of Enterprise Sales, launching and scaling the company's enterprise business across eight cities. As Vice President of Advertising Sales and Account Services at Intent Media Inc., Kuhl successfully grew the company's direct and programmatic advertising business for travel e-commerce sites globally. Kuhl's expertise in sales and marketing has also been recognized during his tenure at Google, where he held the role of Senior Sales Manager. Kuhl's focus on sales also extended to SmartBrief, where he served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales, as well as his previous roles at the Advisory Board Company, where he held senior consulting and project administrative positions.
