Sarah Brandt is an experienced executive in the media industry with a passion for fighting misinformation and restoring trust in news outlets. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental and Energy Studies from Yale University and completed her high school education at St. Louis Park High School. She began her career as an intern at Walden Green Energy and an undergraduate researcher at the Yale Center for Industrial Ecology before going on to hold positions such as Editor-in-Chief at The Echo Newspaper, Junior Volunteer at North Memorial Health Care, and Team Leader at the Yale Office of Sustainability.

Brandt's media career began as a Freelance Writer for City Pages and MinnPost, where she honed her writing and journalism skills. She then became a Strategy Consultant at Patagonia, followed by an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, where she gained experience in analysis, research, and strategy development. Eventually, she joined NewsGuard Technologies, where she served as an Analyst, Vice President of News Literacy Programs, and now Executive Vice President of Partnerships.

Throughout her career, Sarah Brandt has developed a wealth of knowledge in media literacy, writing, research, and strategy development. She continues to be a leading voice in the fight against misinformation and strives to restore trust in the media.
