Cynthia van Sundert is a technology innovation expert with over a decade of experience across various industries. She has served in diverse roles at tech and non-profit organizations, including Director of Operations at Kudos®, Executive Communications at Chaordix, and most recently, as Director of Community Development for BDC Capital's Women in Technology Venture Fund. Cynthia is passionate about building long-lasting relationships with community partners to support early-stage women-led tech companies. She holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mount Royal University. Cynthia has been recognized for her excellence as one of BetaKit’s “80 Women in Canada Worth Following” in 2019, and as an Alberta SHEInnovator by SHEInnovatesAB in 2019 – the first Canadian chapter of the UN Women initiative. Her areas of expertise include technology innovation, startup growth, community outreach, and network building.
