Jay Cheng is a seasoned entrepreneur with a background in manufacturing and distribution. He is the founder of Buzzup, a web3 social platform for creators and fans that offers a seamless web2 experience. Jay has also been involved in other ventures including advising and launching FORVR Mood, a creator-led candle brand, and advising and investing in a CCG project in stealth aimed at getting kids off of iPads. Additionally, he has worked on Gemstra, a blockchain-enabled ecosystem that powers influencer/KOL commerce, and has invested in and advised various other businesses. Jay's passion for technology is evident in his avid coding and his belief that mass adoption of blockchain/cryptocurrency will be achieved before 2030. He holds a degree in Business Economics and Computing from the University of California, Los Angeles.
