Sarah Andersson

Sarah Andersson is an experienced professional with 20 years in pharmacy and public health, focusing on both low and high resource settings. She is passionate about public health and enhancing access to life-saving health services, particularly for under-served and remote communities. Over the past ten years, she has dedicated her efforts to supporting public health programs in developing countries, with a special emphasis on community health workers and remote area health services.

Sarah holds a Master's degree in Public Health with a specialization in International Public Health/International Health from Monash University. Additionally, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy at Curtin University.

Throughout her career, Sarah has held key roles in various organizations. She served as the Program Manager at the World Scabies Program at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. Previously, she worked at John Snow, Inc. (JSI) in roles such as Country Technical Manager, Senior Technical Advisor, and Technical Advisor. Sarah also contributed her expertise as a Community Liaison Pharmacist at The Royal Melbourne Hospital & NorthWestern Mental Health, and as an Outreach Pharmacist at Cairns Base Hospital. She has further volunteered as a Pharmacist under the Australian Youth Ambassador for Development program at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
