Willy Oppenheim is an experienced educator, researcher, and non-profit leader with a passion for global education and volunteerism. As the founder and Co-Director of Omprakash, an international non-profit organization that connects volunteers with grassroots organizations around the world, Willy has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and expertise in education. In addition to his work with Omprakash, Willy has taught undergraduate and high school students in the US, English as a second language in India and Pakistan, and wilderness skills and leadership in outdoor classrooms across the American West. He is also a former Part-Time Lecturer at the University of Washington and a former Board Member at the Good Lad Initiative. With his doctoral research focused on the demand for girls' schooling in rural Pakistan, Willy possesses a unique combination of expertise in education, research, and international development. Willy's interests in running, climbing, playing guitar, and baking bread demonstrate his well-rounded personality and his ability to balance work with fun and creativity.
