Patty de Vries is a health and wellness expert with a diverse background in strategy, innovation, and management. She is the Director of Strategy & Innovation for Stanford University's BeWell program, where she works to promote employee wellness and improve overall health outcomes. Prior to that, she held several other positions at Stanford, including Associate Director of Faculty & Staff Well-Being and Director of Strategic Projects for the Stanford WellMD Center.

Before entering the healthcare industry, Patty founded and ran TimeOut Services, a corporate wellness and fitness consulting company that provided programming for major tech companies like Google, Cisco, and Yahoo!. During her time at TimeOut, she trademarked the Community BootCamp program, which she later sold to Plus One of New York (now Optum).

Patty graduated from Stanford in 1989, where she was a 9-time NCAA All-American in Shot Put and Discus and competed at the 1988 Olympic Trials. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Health Promotion Management from Nebraska Methodist College and a certification in Management Development for Entrepreneurs' from the University of California, Los Angeles - The Anderson School of Management.

Throughout her career, Patty has been recognized for her contributions to the wellness industry, receiving awards like The Key to the City of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Business Journal Top Women in Business, and Top 50 Influential Women of Silicon Valley.
