Atsuya Momikura is a seasoned entrepreneur and marketing expert who has had an extensive career in the tech and advertising industries. He graduated from Doshisha University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and began working for Fujitsu Global focusing on personal marketing where he worked as a brand manager for Touch-Ojisan's tech products. In 2000, Atsuya joined Recruit Co.,Ltd as an alliance and promotion coordinator and was instrumental in kicking off their internet marketing strategy. In 2003, Atsuya landed the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Dream Gate Project, a program initiated by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, which helped startups and entrepreneurs with funding and support. Atsuya continued his work as a marketing consultant for various startup companies after resigning from Recruit Co.,Ltd in 2004, while also holding executive roles in different startups, like being a member of the board and COO at Project Nippon.

In 2007, Atsuya founded NexGate, a marketing and advertising firm that facilitated business partnerships between startups and established corporations. Following the success of NexGate, he helped establish DOOB 3D and Business Time Line in 2014 and 2015, respectively. In 2017, Atsuya founded Pocket RD, which is focused on innovative research and development, and ARI Corporation, an investment company that focuses on supporting startups. Atsuya still serves as CEO of Pocket RD to this day.
