The goal of the Women's Initiative is to engage NYU's over 200,000 alumnae in the intellectual, cultural, and educational life of the university, with a special focus on the personal and professional empowerment of women and girls. The Women's Initiative has over 72,000 active members, and programs and events featuring outstanding NYU faculty and alumnae provide graduates opportunities to return to the university, meet prominent leaders and scholars, and continue lifelong learning.

I am responsible for making key recommendations for the Women's Initiative's strategy and decision-making, particularly in the context of events, budget, membership, partnerships, and organizational leadership.

As an executive committee member of the NYU Women’s Initiative, an alumnae initiative with a roster of over 72,000 members, my keynote project entailed working with the UNDP's Gender Equality in Public Administration Team for a joint NYU/UN event. This ultimately developed into a powerful partnership conglomerate between NYU, McKinsey & Company, Morgan Stanley, UNDP, and the Permanent Missions of Canada, Dominican Republic, and Mexico to the UN for a first of its kind conference on the Business Case for Women’s Leadership in Public Institutions.

The conference had nearly 500 guests in attendance, was hosted at the UN’s historic Trusteeship Council Chamber, and aired live on UN Web TV. It was followed by a networking reception at the Delegate's Dining Room that was sponsored by NYU and Morgan Stanley. As the lead organizer, I was responsible for the end-to-end strategy and project management, which entailed developing a budget and acquiring sponsorship, overseeing logistics, recruiting panelists, developing the event concept note and social media strategy, as well as co-chairing the conference.

Obtained security clearance and a special press badge with social media credentials from NASA's Social Team to view and cover the launch of an ATLAS V rocket and the next generation geostationary weather satellite, GOES-R, at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Liftoff occurred at approximately 6:42PM EST on November 19, 2016.

Appointed as Ambassador for the 2016-2017 annual cycle to support and scale Women for Women International's programmatic efforts across 8 countries.

Responsibilities include introducing new supporters to the organization, organizing virtual and physical fundraising events, representing WFWI at national and international events, and partaking in awareness, advocacy, and media campaigns on behalf of the organization.

Past ambassadors include Nadja Swarovski, Charlotte Olympia, Zara Martin, Arizona Muse, June Sarpong, and Alice Temperley. Sheryl Sandberg serves on the Executive Board of Women for Women International.

Proposal for a a cross-cultural female health mentorship program that leverages cutting-edge technologies to facilitate the rehabilitation of women & girls who have experienced female genital mutilation (FGM) accepted from among a pool of competitive applications to represent NYU & Columbia University's CGIU 2016 cohorts.

Program endorsed as a Commitment to Action by the Clinton Global Initiative; invited by President Bill Clinton to present to an international audience of 1800+ individuals at the CGIU Annual Conference, held at UC Berkeley from April 1-3rd, 2016.

The Management and Administration Division is responsible for the planning, allocation and management of financial, human and administrative resources including information communications and technology, the effective and efficient delivery of essential operations services in UN Women, continuous development and improvement in operations, policies, and methods to align with UN Women and stakeholders' evolving business needs and advisory support to the Executive Director in the formulation and implementation of the UN Women overall mission, strategy and plans of actions. The Procurement section purchases goods and services from vendors and consultants to support the organization’s program delivery.

- Drafted a policy brief on gender-responsive public procurement  in collaboration with the Economic Empowerment Department
- Assisted in the design and implementation of a development project titled 'Women in Procurement' that sought to enable high-potential women entrepreneurs and small businesses to become eligible for and competitive in public procurement contracts and public tendering processes by providing them free-of-cost procurement certification through our two collaborative partners: Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) and the International Training Center of the International Labor Organization (ITCILO)

- Conducted Market Research on the New York Hospitality Industry to derive strategic insights on the extent to which NYC hotels operate on a quota/locking basis, ahead of the expected increase in hotel accommodation requests during the UN's CSW conference

Penn Schoen Berland (PSB) is a market research, political polling and strategic consulting firm based in the United States. The company is known for its political polling on behalf of Bill Clinton and, since the 1970s, PSB has worked on behalf of numerous political campaigns in the U.S. and internationally, contributing to the election of more than 25 political leaders worldwide. Its founders are also credited with the introduction of overnight polling. PSB's notable corporate research and communications work includes research for Microsoft during the 2001 United States v. Microsoft antitrust case and advising McDonald's in the UK to focus on food quality in 2005.

While at PSB, I helped inform numerous Fortune 500 clients' decision-making strategies by conducting extensive market research on their behalf. Market research was conducted through a series of customized strategic insights derived through the creation of focus groups, survey and questionnaire development, advanced data analyses, and quality control.

IPS is a Geneva-based civil society organization on the Roster of the United Nations Economic and Social Council. The Institute for Planetary Synthesis participates actively in ECOSOC and UN conferences, and intervenes in the discussions whenever meaningful. Statements aimed at elevating the discussions onto a planetary synthesis level evoke a reaction from key stakeholders.

- Represented IPS at the Open Working Group Sessions and Steering Committee hearings
- Led IPS' Youth Delegation during the 2013 General Assembly
- Served as the primary NY spokesperson for IPS at several high-level UN meetings and conferences

The Washington Square News is the daily student newspaper of New York University and serves the NYU, Greenwich Village, and East Village communities. The paper, better known as WSN, has a circulation of 10,000 and an estimated 65,000 readers online. It is published Monday through Thursday during the fall and spring semesters and online on Friday, with additional issues published in the summer. WSN is run solely by NYU students, with the paper's senior staff composed of undergraduates.
