Scott Purcell is an accomplished technical recruiter with a diverse background in entertainment and technology. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in telecommunications, business, and Jewish studies from Indiana University Bloomington, Scott followed his passion for film and entertainment to Los Angeles, where he worked in casting and recruiting for reality television shows and high-profile movie sets. However, Scott soon realized that his true calling was in technology and people, which led him to join Motion Recruitment Partner's Jobspring Partner's LA division in 2005. After working hard and learning about the tech industry, Scott was offered a promotion to manage his own sales/recruiting team in Silicon Valley. From there, he moved on to open a brand new division of Jobspring Partners in San Jose, California in 2011, which he built into four teams of recruiters and marketing specialists. Scott's efforts also helped pioneer the fastest growing tech Meetup in Silicon Valley, TechInMotion. Most recently, Scott shifted his career to directly recruit for Uber during a major transition year for the company, before becoming the Leadership Recruiter for Facebook's Data Center team.
