John McAtominey is an experienced and values-driven leader who has spent his career in the third sector. He has had a significant impact on youth development, having led large, remotely deployed teams at both the local, regional, and national levels. With a passion for driving collaborative partnerships, McAtominey is committed to bettering the lives of young people through his work. He is also interested in digital technology and is continually working to improve his coding skills.
McAtominey studied Information Communication Technology, Christian Philosophy & Ethics at St Leonards RCVA VIth Form, Bsc Computing and IT, Computing at The Open University, NVQ Level 3, Technical Certificate & Advanced Apprenticeship, Customer Service Management at Protocol Skills, and Microsoft Office Expert, Computing at Gateshead College. He also attended St Leonards RCVA Comprehensive School in Durham.
McAtominey's past work experience includes serving as National Regional Services Manager, Regional & Area Manager, and Regional Development Officer at The Scouts. Before that, he was a Sales Consultant at Carphone Warehouse and an Apprentice Joiner at Stuart Clark Joinery.
