Casey Curbow is a Lighting Consultant hailing from Denver, CO. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University where he also earned his Engineering in Training licensure and LEED AP BD+C accreditation. Throughout his academic career, Casey also studied Architectural Engineering at Czech Technical University in Prague, through the ERASMUS Exchange Program.

At M-E Engineers, Casey serves as the Lighting Project Manager, having formerly been a Lighting Designer. He also formerly served as a Lighting Consultant at Arup, where he worked as a Graduate Electrical Engineer and Electrical Engineering Summer Intern. He also held a position as an Electrical Engineering Summer Intern at Law/Kingdon Architecture.

Casey's approach to design focuses on achieving pragmatic solutions through simple detailing to expertly balance architectural integrity and engineering needs. He emphasizes collaboration to create stunning visual experiences that convey strong narratives through the skilled use of light and darkness. He is also an associate member of the IES.
