Vineet Anshuman is a veteran technical and business professional with nearly twenty years of experience in sales, product management, and presales engineering in the telecommunications, infrastructure, and software industries. Currently serving as Director for Managed Services at TCTS-Tata Communications Transformation Services, Vineet drives managed services sales for hyperscalers and next-gen tech OEMs, supporting full infrastructure lifecycle projects from opportunity identification through execution.
Vineet has a reputation for engaging customers, developing new ideas and products, and contributing to industry standards, evidenced by his contributions to private 5G and his work with partners and industry standard bodies, such as MEF. As Head of Business Development for Voice, UCC, and Mobility at Tata Communications, he led next-gen product portfolios creating three award-winning products/platforms on SDN-based technology and holds a patent on it. His innovative product on cloud networking and security received accolades from Microsoft, featured at their largest partner conference, encouraging Azure Virtual WAN adoption.
An award-winning entrepreneur, Vineet was the winner of Tata's global entrepreneurial challenge "Shape the Future," and as the founder of a successful edge computing startup backed by internal corporate venturing, was shortlisted as a top "10 Edge computing startup in 2020" by Edge Computing World. In addition to his professional work and entrepreneurial prowess, Vineet mentors tech startups in the IoT and STEM education space.
Vineet is an empaneled judge for prestigious global R&D 100 awards and Conrad Foundation's "Spirit of Innovation" award, conducted at NASA's Cape Canaveral facility and backed by NASA. He's also featured at various tech conferences as a guest speaker and in leading telecom publications for his innovations in the SDN/NFV field. Having published papers on "Applications at the Industrial Edge," he has also contributed to "The State of Edge Report for 2020" by the Linux Foundation.
