Anne Hermans is an ambitious and creative individual with a passion for creating technology that can make a positive impact on the world. She has an academic background in mechanical engineering and industrial design, with coursework completed at top universities such as Technische Universiteit Delft and 東京工業大学. In addition, she has a minor in medicine for technical students.

She gained experience in several organizations, including serving as a product manager and design engineer at SenseGlove, where she was responsible for managing product development and designing products to enhance human-machine interaction. Anne also co-founded Opt Medical, a medical design company, and was a graduate student and team member in Human Machine Interface at Project MARCH, where she developed technology to help people with spinal cord injuries. She has also worked as an illustrator, tutor, chair of committees, and bijlesdocent.
