LaKay Cornell (she - her)
LaKay Cornell is a multifaceted storyteller, lawyer, and feminist from the United States. She graduated from Simmons University with a degree in Sociology, Women's Studies, Society and Health, as well as a graduate certificate in Women in Politics and Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She went on to earn a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and a Master's degree in Tax Law from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
LaKay is a well-known brand strategist, messaging expert, and event designer. She has written for several publications, including Conscious Company Media, The Perpetual You Magazine, and Sustain the Magazine. As a freelance writer, consultant, and speaker, she has lent her expertise to organizations such as Her Future Coalition and Champagne Hippies. She is also the co-founder and managing editor of The Perpetual You and the former marketing director of K.Dawson Company, LLC.
LaKay is actively involved in intersectional social impact initiatives and advocates for gender equality and human rights. She is currently writing her memoir titled, "Rose Colored Glasses," which explores her connection with her father, both the one she thought she had and the one she lost.
