Group Operations Manager

Spearhead marketing activities for the Al Ghandi Auto Group (Al Ghandi Auto, SMAG, National Auto, Yaseer, Tamam) that covers the entire United Arab Emirates and areas of East Africa. Main brands under the umbrella: Chevrolet, GMC, Fiat, Proton, SsangYong, IVECO, Kohler, CNH, Mazzocchia, Kobelco.Tasks involve planning and forecasting budgets, brand guidelines, advertising, brand development, web site traffic growth and UI, digital strategies, implementation of tactical campaigns, sponsorships, roadshows, exhibitions, and many more marketing avenues. Design, coordination and implementation of artwork through different medium.Plan budgets, briefs & lead implementation with and without ad agencies to ensure coherent strategies. Formulating media, positioning and advertising concepts to meet brand objectives within budget. Lead and direct team to achieve campaign specific goals. Ensure media mixes for all communications and cultures (Arabic & English in the main). Monitoring effectiveness of communication and re-calibrate messaging in line with strategy. Direct media deals that help positioning the Brand as easy to deal with. Display strong creative communication in advertisements for every brand in the portfolio. Co-ordination and managing product launches.

Responsible for the companies marketing direction and proposal writing. Marketing involves: Advertising, website development, branding, cooperate identity etc. I use Adobe Creative suite and use a 3rd party company to outsource the branding and advertising works.

I lead the cradle to crave process of the mechanical elements for the Dive Control Consoles aboard the "Skandi Arctic" vessel.  3D CAD, drawings, renders, QA, BoM’s, MRP, DFM, DFA, ergonomics, experiments, overseeing the build and leading the design development, and much more. Parts manufactured (desktop components, sheet metal, state of the art equipment) all being utilised in everyday life. The vessel is now diving.
