Thomas Suarez
Thomas Suarez is a software and electronics engineer with a passion for democratizing open platforms and radical technology. He co-founded and leads Teleportal, a spatial computing company building 3D creator tools and dynamic object technology. He previously gave a TED talk on computer science education and became a Thiel Fellow. Suarez studied Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology. His previous work includes conducting human-computer interaction research at Georgia Tech, prototyping a modular 3D printer, building open-source projects, and working as a Software Engineering Intern at Think Tank Team at Samsung Research America. He was also a former Research Assistant at Georgia Tech Research Institute, Tech Team (Software) at HexLabs, Inc., Engineering Intern at Inventables, Founder at Teleportal, Software Development Teacher at STAR Education, and Founder at CarrotCorp Inc.
